SalaryOur client is currently seeking a part time Accountant (0.8 FTE) to join their close knit team.
This well established business is in the automotive industry and based in the northern suburbs. This position will see you working in a friendly environment of 25 team members, with duties spread across two businesses which helps to keep the position varied and interesting.
You will be involved in a variety of duties including but not limited to:
- Maintaining general ledgers
- Bank reconciliations
- End of month journals
- Providing detailed reports to external bodies
- Profit and Balance sheets
- Internal Management Reports
- Lodging BAS and Tax reports
The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics:
- 4 years experience in a commercial accounting setting
- Previous experience in an SME environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to work independently
- Attention to detail
- Long term stability and commitment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
