Are you a Financial Accountant with 10 years of industry experience? Are you looking for your next leadership or management opportunity? Are you the type of person who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Then this role might be for you!
Snapshot of duties:
- Provide leadership in technical accounting, including assessments and implementation of new Australian Accounting Standards.
- Lead year-end reporting and external audit activities, ensuring timely delivery of financial reports.
- Oversee corporate tax management and ensure appropriate treatment of deferred tax accounting.
- Manage customer credit risk assessments and financial asset impairments.
- Implement and monitor controls to mitigate fraud risks and ensure business continuity.
- Offer strategic accounting, tax, and credit risk management advice to support business decisions.
- Develop and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Over 10 years of relevant experience in Accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Accounting degree and CA/CPA certification required.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and financial reporting requirements.
- Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including board-level reporting.
- Proven ability in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
