AddressThe Role:
The role of the Financial Controller is to work closely with the Commercial Director and support the three management accountants to become an integral part of the sites financial function by providing accurate and timely consolidated information across multiple key business areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Precise consolidation of information from the areas of P&L, Balance Sheet, Working Capital, Cash Flow and Capital Projects
- Overseeing month end financial close, forecast projections, internal controls and preparation of management reports for senior leadership
- Partnering with BU leaders on key deliverables, budgets, audit preparation & ASX reporting requests
- Assist in annual build of product costing standards (COGS), work with procurement, supply chain and sales functions
- Ad hoc support for strategic projects of the Orora group
- Oversight of the management accountant’s areas of responsibility
- The continual review and development of reporting systems and processes to maximise the efficiency and minimize the cost of reporting processes
- Adherence to group reporting deadlines
About You:
Successful applicants will:
- Hold a recognised tertiary degree in Accountancy, Commerce or Business Administration
- Have post graduate qualification / Diploma of either CA, CPA or CMA
- Posses advanced spreadsheet skills with Excel and Power BI
- Show 3+ years in a financial management position
- Have string problem solving and analytical skills with well developed interpersonal/communication skills
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and proactiveness
- Have knowledge of supply chain reporting systems, preferably SAP
- Experience within a manufacturing environment highly desirable
