About The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a first mover out of audit or chartered to join a fast growing, multinational company and take the lead on the month end close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and insight into the financial performance of the global group for our internal and external stakeholders.
Our team at Eucalyptus is inquisitive, driven and curious about our financial performance and where we can optimise for growth and efficiency. As a key communicator of these results you will establish connections with stakeholders across patient operations, supply chain, marketing, people and legal to ensure they are equipped with timely and relevant financial information to inform rapid decision making.
Within the finance team, you will partner with the Head of Finance to communicate our monthly results to the CFO and wider executive team, providing commentary and insight on the performance of Eucalyptus’s business units and areas for financial improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the month end close process and compile monthly management reports;
- Track financial performance against forecasts and prepare monthly investor packs;
- Ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of monthly financial release data including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and other business metrics;
- Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for complex accounts such as inventory and revenue recognition
- Assist the technical accounting team during the year end statutory audit process as required
- Lead efficiency projects within our ERP system Netsuite to accelerate the automation of system information from our sales order engine and our payment gateway
About You (Who You Are)
- 2+ years of professional experience at Big 4 or large corporate
- Experience working with a multi site or multinational consolidated group
- Bachelors Degree in Business/Commerce with a major in Accounting
- Completed or midway through CA/CPA Program
- Experience with inventory accounting highly regarded
- Experience using large ERP system required (Netsuite preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills
