Job Description:
This position will be based in our West Perth office, and offered on a full time contract working Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statement and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Assist in preparation of budgets, forecast and financial reports.
- Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trend, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist with audits and tax filings.
- Provide financial analysis and support to management.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- CPA or relevant certification.
- Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
