The position would involve financial accounting, statutory reporting FP&A and tax. - Preparation of Settlement & Collections Accounts Bank Recs
- Assist with Corporate & Trust Accounting (from journals to full accounts and financial statements)
- Executing Settlements transactions in corporate banking platform
- Assist with monthly board reporting package including consolidated management accounts (from journals to full accounts) and financial analysis and commentary.
- Assist with Company Secretarial tasks (collating quarterly board pack, filings with ASIC, drafting circular resolutions)
- AFSL Compliance (Legal entity cashflow forecasting, monthly P&L & Balance Sheet)
- Assist with the Group budgeting and forecasting process
- Corporate Statutory Financial Statements and dealing with auditors
- Assisting with Tax computations (including Income Tax, GST and FBT)
- Previous experience in a Chartered Accounting or Business Services firm highly regarded
- 1-2 years' in a financial services environment would be beneficial but we are open to an Accounting graduate starting their Chartered Accounting qualification
- Must have permanent Australian working rights (citizen or PR)
