What Are We Looking For?
We seek an exceptional person with experience reporting financial information, costing support, and management reports.
This full-time position will report to our supportive Finance Manager based in our Brisbane Head Office in Wakerley, in the Eastern Suburbs of Brisbane.
This position will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Prepare balance sheets and carry out inventory reconciliations.
- Prepare end-of-month provisions and accruals.
- Prepare for interim audit and year-end audit schedules.
- Prepare month-end journals, including provision and accrual, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage accounts payable, including reviewing payment requests and reconciling supplier accounts.
- Ensure monthly BAS returns are prepared and submitted on time.
What makes you the right person?
To be successful, we are looking for the following:
- Hold either a CA or CPA qualification.
- Hold tertiary qualifications in Business or Finance related fields.
- Have costing experience in the manufacturing industry with a sound understanding of overhead management (desirable)
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel (financial modelling and analysis)
- Microsoft Business Central experience (desirable)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
