Tax Accountant

What you will bring to the team:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Commerce;
• Previous public practice experience (we are open to level of experience); 
• Business Services, Tax and BAS experience;
• Excellent communication skills is an absolute must;
• Excellent knowledge of tax compliance & research skills;
• Ambition to succeed and be able to work autonomously with a great work ethic;
• Previous experience in accounting and tax software, both desktop and cloud based.
• Experience in producing tax returns and financial statements for Individuals, Partnerships, Companies, Trusts and SMSFs
• Single Touch Payroll, payroll processing, superannuation reconciliations and year end finalisations
• BAS / IAS preparation
• This is a client facing position, you will be expected to complete returns in front of clients. 
• Minimum two years in a comparable role within an accounting practice
• The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
