Role OverviewThe Financial Accountant will serve as a pivotal member of our finance team, managing a broad range of financial tasks including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting. This role is essential for maintaining our financial health and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including processing payments, handling accounts payable and receivable, and executing payroll.
- Prepare financial statements, manage budgeting, and conduct financial forecasting.
- Maintain compliance with all financial and legal requirements, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external financial queries.
- Enhance financial policies and systems to improve efficiency and transparency.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to support financial aspects of business operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in financial accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency with accounting software, particularly Xero, and strong skills in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
