The Role
Working as part of a high performing finance team, you will be responsible for performing a broad range of financial accounting tasks. Reporting directly to a well credentialed and supportive Finance Manager, your key tasks will include:
- Balance sheet movement analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations for the Australian and NZ businesses
- Assist with group month end closing as required
- Weekly and monthly group cash reporting
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Supporting the Group Treasury function as required
- Assistance with Corporate Tax
- Assistance with audit queries for both Group and Subsidiary audits
- Assistance with quarterly ABS surveys
- Subsidiary financial statements as assigned from time to time.
- Month-end tasks, including payroll and leave journals, accruals, prepayments, capitalised wages and maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
CA / CPA qualified, you may have began your career within a Big 4 or highly regarded Mid Tier Firm. You may be looking to make your first move into industry from practice. Candidates who are currently working at the Senior Accountant / Senior Analyst level, either in Audit or Business Services would be very well suited to this role. Alternatively, you may have begun your career in industry, and may be currently working as a Financial Accountant within a reputable organisation and looking to progress your career within an high performing ASX listed business. You will have first class communication skills, pay strong attention to detail and will be able to contribute to a dynamic high performance culture. Tech savvy, you will have strong Excel and systems skills.
