SalaryExciting pportunity for an experienced and ambitious Financial Accountant to join a privately owned construction business with as part of a growing finance team. This company are working on various commercial and residential projects across Sydney and have a great reputation in the market.
The role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will be responsible for:
- Month end closing
- Monthly accruals and journal entries
- Fixed assets and depreciation schedules
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Corporate tax- transfer pricing, GST and FBT
- Reponsibility for internal controls and policies
- Internal audit reporting
- Communicate complex financial information to various stakeholders
- Continuous improvement projects
Skills and experience
- CA/CPA qualification
- Some experience in financial accounting within a commercial setting highly regarded
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
