Reporting to the Group Financial Controller this position falls within our corporate Finance team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensures timely production and review of balance sheets reconciliations;
- Accurately record regular fixed assets;
- Work with the Accounts team (payable and receivable) to ensure all company matters are correctly treated and reflected for accounting purposes;
- Deliver month end processing, including undertaking analysis (for any miss-allocation costs for revenue);
- Provide timely and accurate financial advice and support across the full spectrum of financial accounting;
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial controls, policies, procedures and processes across the business; and
- Maintain accounting information and underlying systems to ensure timely and accurate end of reporting.
To be considered for this position you will need:
- 2 - 3 years experience in a similar role;
- University degree in Accounting coupled with membership in an appropriate professional accounting body;
- CPA/CA qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Experience working with Databuild and / or Xero desirable;
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (specifically Excel and Power Query);
- Strong problem solving abilities;
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Great team player.
