Financial Accountant - Contract

The Business

Our client is a leading business based in Brisbane CBD, facing year on year growth. They are currently seeking a Financial Accountant to support the team through month end. 

This role is well suited to someone with 3-4 years commercial experience in Financial Accounting within a complex business. 

The Role

You will be responsible for a range of duties including but not limited to:

• Month end processes and close procedures
• Fixed asset register maintenance plus additions/disposals
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Assistance with the annual financial report preparation and review process
• Other ad-hoc tasks to support the wider finance team

This role will provide you with a high level of exposure within a large corporate organisation.

About You

• Tertiary qualified in Finance or Accounting 
• CA/CPA part qualified highly regarded 
• Ideally 3+ years commercial experience within a complex business, or Big 4 Audit/Business Services background
• Able to start immediately or at short notice
