They are currently looking to hire a Financial Accountant, key duties will include:
- Monthly fund reporting
- Month end journals (accruals, prepayments, AASB 16 etc)
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- BAS preparation
- Bank reconciliations
- Cash flow review & forecast
- Calculate and accrue interest, calculations for debt covenants, amortisation of borrowing costs
- Capitalisation of interest and holding costs
- Assist with preparation of distribution information quarterly
- Assistance with Management/Board reporting
- Assistance with year end financial reporting, including preparation of supporting notes for financial statements and schedules for auditors
You will be CA/CPA qualified with 3+ years of financial accounting experience ideally with exposure to fund accounting, or be making your first move from a chartered firm. Strong technical accounting skills particularly around financial statements and audit are key. In addition you will have excellent stakeholder management skills, strong time management abilities, and enjoy working in a fast-paced high growth environment.
