Financial Accountant - growing company of 1,000 people

Our client is a large, successful company operating Australia wide. Due to growth, they require a Financial Accountant to join their highly regarded finance team in their head office.

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant you will undertake the following:

• Assist with month end processes
• Assist with statutory accounts
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Asset and lease accounting
• Assist with preparation of annual FBT return for the group.
• Data collation for external auditors and statutory tax.
• Project work

  
To succeed in this role, it is expected you will have the following skills and attributes:

• CA/CPA qualifications or be working towards this
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• ERP and system skills.
• Communication skills
• A desire to contribute, continuously learn and develop your skills
• Experience in an accounting firm or commercial organization
• Team player
