Financial Accountant - Iconic Sports Brand

Our client is a well renowned, Australian leader in the sports and retail industry. They are seeking a highly motivated finance professional who has a keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data.
Key responsibilities of the role:

• Management of month end processes
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Accruals for payroll items
• Liaise with HR /Payroll Officer
• Checking and reviewing payroll journals for accuracy
• Payroll tax lodgement & mthly trackers /annual reconciliations
• Assistance with month end SLT pack preparation (Balance Sheet Metrics

To be successful you will have:

• High level of organisational and time management skills
• CPA / CA Qualified
• Attention to detail
• Positive attitude
• Highly motivated
• Experience of reconciling monthly payroll processing to the general ledger (essential)
• Experience in a medium to large corporate
• Ability to interact with all levels of internal stakeholders
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Studying or completed Accounting degree
