The Opportunity
Joining a dynamic small team, the Financial Accountant is responsible for assisting the long-serving Financial Controller in maintaining the general ledger, account reconciliations, and P&L cost centre analysis.
Additionally, this role will contribute to the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets/forecasts, and year-end statutory accounts. Initially, manage the accounting function (with the exception of accounts receivable and payroll) to ensure accurate information is processed and records are maintained of all company accounts.

About You

As a highly organised individual, you possess strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
In addition, you will also hold the following:
- At least 5+ years’ experience in a similar role in a large, medium, or multinational organisation, with tight deadline reporting.
- Qualifications in Financial or Management Accounting disciplines
- CA / CPA qualifications or equivalent preferred
- Exposure to Sage or similar accounting software
- Self-starter with the ability to set own targets and complete tasks within a timely manner
- Advanced skills in Excel
- Experience in Management Skills
