Financial Accountant - Lease Accounting + Fixed Assets

Our client

Widely known globally listed group. They've seen tremendous growth over the past few years, reflected by the success of their share price. They've got operations globally, with an Aussie turnover of approximately $500mill.

This role is based in Sydney CBD with 2 days WFH

The role
Responsibilities include but aren't limited to - 

• Full responsibility of month end reporting
• Analysis & interpretation of company performance and in depth analysis of clinical performance
• Maintain fixed asset register 
• Management of leases (IFRS 16)
• Dealing with external Accountants, Tax Advisers, and Auditors
• Being a key member with regards to annual audit and half yearly audit review
• Compliance requirements of superannuation, GST, PAYG, payroll tax, ABS etc
• Consolidating monthly results with commentary / analyses of balance sheet movements and income statement variances against budget / forecast

About you

• CPA/CA qualified (or near to completion) 
• Suits experienced Financial Accountant ideally with exposure to Lease accounting (IFRS 16) and fixed assets 
• Experience in a multi-site environment (ideal), not essential
• Outstanding communicator
