What you'll do

  • Deliver accurate and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Complete monthly accounting and reporting process as required including balance sheet reconciliations
  • Accurate recording and timely payment of relevant taxes and/or fees
  • Support the Financial Reporting & Analysis teams with their analysis and review of actual to budget/forecast results business units
  • Assist Senior Financial Accountant with mentoring team members, specifically for cross training purposes.
  • Process month end Journal Entries as required
  • Maintain adequate internal controls to ensure the integrity of the General Ledger and associated processes
  • Prepare Legal entity reviews and other Profit and loss and balance sheet support schedules for the half year and year end Business Unit Reporting Packs and external audits
  • Identify, recommend and manage business process improvement for the financial accounting team

What you'll bring

  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Previous Financial Account experience with exposure to month-end processing, journals, balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing results and reviewing actuals vs budget/forecasting
  • Experience with large ERP systems
  • Demonstrated skills with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good communication skills
