This is a key role in ensuring that financial operations for Ticketek Australia are running smoothly and efficiently. The role provides an opportunity to think outside the box and implement significant changes in a dynamic and creative environment. The successful candidate will be required to initiate innovative and practical improvements to existing methodologies and processes so that the Finance Department continues to be pro-active and adds value to the business.
About the Role
- Full cycle accounting, which includes P&L and Balance Sheet close
- Analytical review of monthly results to identify and understand key variances and trends
- Monthly preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations and working papers
- Support during annual budget and forecast preparation
- Leveraging the use of systems to simplify processes and minimize the need for manual work
- Maintenance and improvement of general financial records, systems, procedures and policies to align with Australian processes
- Other duties as reasonably required
About You
- Minimum 5 years post University experience in a Chartered or commercial environment
- Completion or near completion of CA or CPA qualification
- ERP systems experience
- Strong PC Skills, including medium to advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and listening skills,with ability to quickly developstrong relationships and influence stakeholders in a decision making process
- ‘Can-do’ attitude in addition to strong attention to detail
- Experience in team management
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a dynamic environment
Other considerations for this position
- Min 38 Hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Some projects and deadlines would require out of hours commitment
