They are now looking for a Senior Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE.
Working as part of a team of 7, you'll report to the Senior Accountant, who in turn supports a Business Director in Melbourne:
As the Accountant, you'll be responsible for:
- Preparation of monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, internal management reports
- Managing the general ledger including overseeing the monthly balance sheet, banking, and inter-company reconciliations
- Monthly cash flow reporting, budgeting and forecasting at a group level
- Assisting in the preparation of GST, FBT, Payroll, Corporate Income Tax Returns
- Ensuring Accounting standards and policies are adhered to
- Training and mentoring junior staff
- Liaison with external Auditors, Bank Managers and Tax specialists
SKILLS + EXPERIENCE.
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Bilingual- Mandarin speaking
- Strong Taxation Knowledge
- Taking your own initiative and being eager to learn
- A go-getter with a positive attitude
- Strong accuracy & attention to detail
- Exceptional Communicator
- Looking for someone who is motivated & works quickly
- Intermediate Excel
- Experience with MYOB is highly regarded
