Financial Accountant - NFP - North-West SydneyCompany BackgroundOur client is a rapidly growing organisation providing healthcare services to the members of our community who need it most.They have been expanding at a formidable pace. The CEO & Finance Manager are always happy to chat and answer any questions that you have.It's an industry constantly changing, with new funding regulations, areas of growth opportunity, and compliance requirements, meaning new challenges and constantly needing to think on your feet to adapt to the changing market.The RoleThis Financial Accountant will be responsible for:

• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for the Corporate head office
• Balance sheet review
• Assist with annual audit
• Liaising with external tax agents for Payroll Tax, BAS, Income Tax and FBT returns lodgment
• Annual business insurance and Workcover insurance renew
• Month-end reconciliations review and proactive follow-up of outstanding issues
• Support the CFO with ad hoc reports

Your BackgroundTo be considered for this role, the Finance Manager is looking for candidates who are/have:

• Ideally, you have experience in Aged Care, NFP, Community services, NDIS or similar. This is not essential but will certainly make you stand out from the crowd.
• CA or CPA qualified
• Currently at a Financial Accountant level in their career with strong month-end experience
• If you have mentored or supervised staff that would be highly regarded
