SalaryFixed Term Contract - 6 month contract with the potential to extend.
In this role, you will report to your Team Leader. This role looks after the financial accounting for the FCTG Leisure Brand operations, with a focus on FC brand marketing. This decentralised financial accounting role supports the Australian Leisure business and requires you to have a disciplined financial control mindset, diligent work ethic, be proactive in finding solutions, have strong customer and teamwork skills, time management skills and ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment.
This is a financial accounting role; great for someone looking to progress their career in a large ASX listed company, with an operational support focus.
Duties and Responsibilities (include, but not limited to)
- Assist with half year and year end statutory audits
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations across the Leisure business
- Protect our business by monitoring and reviewing at risk items
- Constantly look to improve efficiencies within finance workflow processes
- Timely and accurate preparation of monthly Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet reviews
- Assist with special projects and the implementation of systems and process improvement initiatives as they arise
- Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant accounting standards and FCL minimum standards for financial systems and processes
- Month-end accounting for the Leisure business to assist in the GL close process, including Cash Management and recording, Wage Calculations and Debtors/Creditors recording
- CA/CPA or studying towards
- 6-12 months experience in an accounting role
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or similar
- Interpersonal and communication skills with ability to develop relationships at all levels
- Teamwork skills
- High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change, growth and pressure
- Salary on offer- $75k Plus Super (pro rata- fixed term contract)
