Enough about us, more about the role!
We are currently on the lookout for a proactive, allrounder Financial Accountant to join our close-knit Group Finance team based in Alexandria.
No two days are the same, however, a typical day would be:
- Responsible for the day-to-day processing of financial accounting transactions and reporting all our employing entities– journals, month end accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, monthly P&L payroll accounting, GST reconciliations and BAS submissions.
- Assisting the Finance Manager in monthly head office reporting, budgeting and forecasting and external audits.
- Supporting the wider Group Finance function in accounts payable, payroll and other finance duties to ensure the Finance team is set up for success.
- Involved in project work and ad hoc tasks when required.

- 2 to 3 years in a Finance/Accountant role – SME experience and experience with inventory and goods highly regarded.
- All-rounder Accounting exposure – understands accounts payable and payroll processes and is willing to support these functions when needed.
- Has working knowledge of Navision and exposure to concur and Power BI.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office.
- Can work independently and as part of a team to support the team’s success.
- Well-spoken communication and interpersonal skills – able to adapt to different levels in the business.
- Is someone who takes ownership and accountability of their role and is proactive in problem solving and solutions.
