This is an exciting opportunity within a high-growth FMCG business that brings recognisable food brands to your local supermarkets. Based in Melbourne's Western suburbs, you will join a close knit and collaborative team in a broad role including financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, payroll and tax accounting.
The team operates on a hybrid working model with work from home available two days per week, as well as offering flexible start and finish times.
The Challenge
Reporting into the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting month end close and reporting including P&L and variance analysis.
- Preparation and lodgement compliance work, including BAS, Payroll Tax, PAYG, Workers Comp etc.
- Assisting with Year-end tax and audits.
- Lead and support the payroll function, including payment runs.
- Assist with monthly cost accounting including inventory and FX hedging.
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc projects, as required
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- Ideally CA or CPA qualified with a minimum of 3+ year's experience.
- Background in FMCG or consumer/manufacturing industries is a bonus, if not you may have had exposure to these industries in a chartered environment
- Desire to join and integrate into a close knit and friendly team.
- Experience with NetSuite is a bonus but not essential.
- Ability to work out of Melbourne's Western suburbs.
