Financial Accountant

Global Manufacturing business based in Castle Hill

Your new company 

As part of a global business, your new employer specialises in the design, manufacture and sales of specialist monitoring equipment.

Your new role 

This is a key position in the business which will be assisting in identifying and implementing processes and policies, cost/expense management/initiatives and a keen focus on timeliness, quality and customer needs.  The role will see you responsible for, but not be limited to: 

• Work with Production and the Service Center to release shipments and arrange pick-up by freight providers.
• Full cycle Accounts Receivable, including preparation of monthly invoices and maintaining customer records.
• Accounts Payable including invoice processing, timely payment, vendor review and maintenance. 
• Bank reconciliations for depository accounts. 
• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts; reviewing for input accuracy and prepare monthly reports and journal entries, as needed. 
• General ledger maintenance. 
• Prepare monthly financial statement

• Assist with the annual budget and audit processes.
• Vendor statement reconciliation and discrepancies. 
• Review of all expense reports for accuracy and proper expense disclosure including company credit cards
• Capital asset management
• Inventory transaction management and completing annual physical inventory reconciliation.
• Perform other related duties as may be requested by Corporate Finance team.

What you'll need to succeed 

You will be CA/CPA certified with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, previous supervisory skills and ideally have manufacturing experience.

You will be a strong communicator and have the ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-past environment.
