The opportunity
Our Simple Super Advice service (known as Intra-fund Advice) is our direct to client advice channel. This team provides phone-based intra-fund advice to Members in the AMP Super Fund.
The Intra-fund Financial Adviser role is to help Members achieve their financial goals by providing them phone-based education, general and personal financial advice. With particular focus on investments, contributions, insurance advice and simple retirement planning about a Member’s AMP product.
The successful candidate will deliver advice that is in clients’ best interests. This will be demonstrated by your attitude, skills and competencies, productivity, compliance scores and member survey scores.
We also expect the successful candidate to help shape the future of the direct capability in AMP by providing regular feedback on the usability and effectiveness of advice templates, processes, procedures and systems.
How you will make an impact
The Financial Adviser will be accountable for:
Provide appropriate, compliant advice to eligible Members of AMP products
Superannuation planning strategies and intra-fund advice topics
Having a specialist knowledge of AMP products and corporate super plans
Following approved licensee policy, processes and standard operating procedures
Providing exceptional service that exceeds the expectations of Members serviced
Meet minimum hours of required professional development training
Listening to feedback, and taking decisive action to improve and enhance skills and expertise
What you will bring to the role
Experience required
Have delivered personal advice to Members/ clients as part of a licensed practice
Demonstrated track record of following structured advice process and procedures
Demonstrated ability to meet activity targets and conversion rates to personal advice
Meet the Professional Standards for Financial Advisers
Phone-based advice experience preferred
Qualification/s required
Named on ASIC’s Financial Adviser Register (FAR)
Hold an Approved Degree
Have passed the FASEA Financial Advice Exam
Job Specific Capabilities Required
Clear verbal and written communication skills
High level of technical knowledge about current legislative and regulative standards
Follow our approved scripts, policies, procedures and risk controls
Deliver advice within reasonable time requirements such that advice calls are efficient and we can deliver our advice service at scale
Maintain relevant file notes and advice templates for all appointments held
Keep workflows up to date on a daily basis so we can track file progress and meet SLAs
High client service orientation and interpersonal sensitivity
Ability to triage members to other channels where intra-fund advice is not appropriate
