You will establish, develop and maintain relationships in the commercial and personal lending arena. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a lending service for the firm's corporate and personal clients by addressing their lending requirements using an appropriate lending provider.
You will also:
- Establish and maintain relationships with Principal Advisers to source
- lending opportunities within their client portfolios
- Maintain relationships with existing clients and establish alliances with external clients
- Establish, develop and maintain relationships with Lender BDM (residential) and Bank RM (Corporate)
- Attend and participate in professional development training and networking events
- Develop and implement new services to be offered to clients (as required)
- Prepare loan applications/ submissions
- Follow up with Letters of Offer to clients
- Arrange valuation reports
- Coordinate settlements with clients solicitor and lending provider
- Liaise with clients and lending provider throughout the loan process
You have 2 - 5+ years' experience in Business Development/Sales or Lending Advisory within Commercial Lending/Broking. You also have a strong understanding and knowledge of current industry trends to assist with benchmarking lending services
You also have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- MFAA or FBAA membership
- Outstanding client relationship skills with a proven track record of building a client base
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to establish, develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external clients
- Ability to coordinate and administer the loan process in a timely and accurate manner
- Ability to coach and work with the Lending team to achieve the goals and objectives required
