Job Description
We are seeking an energetic, analytically driven and Financial Analyst to support our Management Consultancy Practice. This is initially a contract role that is made available flexibly on hourly and / or daily basis and would suit final year student or recent graduate. Given the number of hours to fill, this would suit an individual looking for between 20 and 40 hours per week. A full-time role may be available for the appropriate candidate.
What you should be great at:
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- In-depth knowledge of financial modelling and analytics
- Strong communication skills with the ability to develop relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to use initiative and proactively problem solve
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to adapt in high pressure situations
- Understanding of IT, data analytics highly regarded
- Critical thinking and attention to detail
- Strong copy writing skills
What you will need to do;
- Assist the consultant team with financial due diligence and financial modelling
- Engage in market research to determine market size and competitor analysis
- Support the construction of information memorandum for capital raising purposes
- Have a strong eye for detail, especially proof-reading and critical thinking traits
- Utilise strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials, and exercise discretion when interacting with people inside and outside the business
- Other ad hoc duties
