We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Financial Business Analyst. This is a 12-month maximum-term, full-time opportunity based at our Head Office in Clayton and may involve occasional domestic and international travel.
Position responsibilities will include:
- Project reporting for Bosch Australia Manufacturing Solutions (BAMS)
- Cooperation with BAMS management accountant/controller in monitoring BAMS financial target achievement, risks and opportunities
- Analysing Monthly Business Report, Business Planning & Forecasting for BAMS projects
- Consulting to management and key stakeholders in a commercial context
- Supporting BAMS together with BAMS management accountant / controller of Global Services Department (GS) as a business partner in all aspects of operational & strategic management
- Project controlling and forecasting - analysis of actuals including risks & opportunities, reasons for variations and recommendation of corrective actions / preparation of current forecast and BP data for GS
- Reporting on overdue accounts
- Supporting Cash Flow prediction, coordinating with GS streams and tracking KPI
- Supporting the development of new business models whilst evaluating business cases, supporting investment calculations and scenario analysis
- Support Strategic business modelling
- Reporting to management, projects and operation teams together with BAMS management accountant / controller
Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced Financial Business Analyst who can work autonomously and take lead in generating project reports, collaborating with management to monitor financial targets, analyzing monthly business reports, and providing valuable consulting services.
To be considered for this position you are required to meet the following criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Management Accounting, or related field; Business Administration degree preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Power BI, Excel (Advanced), SAP (mandatory), data sourcing, statistical modelling, analysing variances and digitization trends.
- Relevant Project Accounting experience
- Manufacturing / engineering industry experience will be desirable.
- Personal competencies including critical thinking, ambiguity tolerance, integrity, perseverance, execution skills and openness.
- Communication and collaboration abilities i.e., presentation skills, conflict management, negotiation skills and assertiveness
- Business acumen including understanding of business models and strategic thinking.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
