SalaryThe CompanyRobert Half has been exclusively retained to appoint a newly created role of Business & Financial Analyst (APAC) for a Global Construction Solutions Enterprise, residing at its Melbourne headquarters.Our client is a global leader and pioneer in vertical access solutions to the commercial, industrial and construction sectors, renowned for delivering major key construction and industrial projects for over 70 years. An industry leader in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance, its current project portfolio includes a significant Australian iconic landmark.As a result of transformation and an ongoing appetite for future acquisitive and organic growth, this key role will suit a high potential developing Business Analyst professional to join a highly capable and driven commercial team. You will be joining a transparent, non-hierarchical culture where your financial, analytical and business transformation expertise will be highly sought.This role will reside at its Melbourne headquarters with a strong commitment to flexible / hybrid work. The RoleReporting directly to the Managing Director (APAC), this role will provide timely analysis on business performance analytics and adhoc business analysis management across the Australian and APAC business operations.You will also assist in the Managing Director in delivering business transformation projects in the APAC region. Your summarised remit would include three (3) key areas ;APAC Reporting & Financial Statement Close Process (FSCP) required for global for monthly and quarterly deliverables.Analysis of existing Financial & Business cases & Data Analysis, assessment of existing and future Project PipelineSupporting feasibilities and analysis of Transformation and Projects Initiatives Some of the more specific responsibilities will include ;Analysis & ReportingProvide accurate and timely variance and financial analysis on the APAC region results, with the ability to interrogate and explain financial results.Preparation monthly/quarterly regional reports.Developing business cases, feasibility reports and cost/benefit analysis for solutions and proposals.Compiling charts, tables, and other elements of internal and external data visualisation. Business TransformationWork with project teams to validate and document current state processes and contribute to the development future state processes.Provide appropriate data analysis to support project initiatives.Map, analyse and model processes.Establish, update, monitor and report on project progress, action registers, risk, and issues log to ensure transparency of issues, conflicting priorities, and escalations are actioned.Assist with the development and execution of the APAC business strategy through process improvement, project management and as required system implementation Your ProfileYou are a high potential Business & Financial Analyst, with financial acumen and an ability to identify issues and areas for improvement through analysis, and can demonstrated implementing new processes and systems.
