Location: Lake Cargelligo, NSW
Job Type: FIFO, 3 days per week,27 hours per week
Starting Time: ASAP
Shift Schedule: 3 days per week, 9 hours per day, 7am- 5pm
Annual Salary: $77,220 per annum + Super
Responsibilities:
- Managing the preparation and presentation of financial statements and reports
- Month end/year end closing and reporting duties
- Develop and maintain a robust financial reporting process to provide timely and accurate financial information to the senior management team
- Efficient and effective operation of the daily accounting function and systems.
- Preparation of budgets
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable management
- Cash Flow analysis, reporting and management
- Bank Reconciliation
- Prepare and review tax calculations and returns in compliance with the tax legislation
- Ad hoc duties when required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- CPA or CA qualified
- Previous extensive experience as a Financial Controller
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights to support business decisions
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and accounting software
- Ability to multitask and prioritise to meet deadlines
- Experience with financial modelling and forecasting tools
- Excellent knowledge of Australian Tax Legislation
- A proactive, motivated mindset, someone who thrives when working under pressure.
- Very strong interpersonal and communication skills
