ABOUT THE ROLE
Working within the Finance team, you will be looked upon as a leader, and responsible for reporting the half yearly, and annual results to the board. This is a very hands-on role working across financial reporting, tax and compliance.
DUTIES
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the financial reporting process, including monthly, half-yearly, and annual closing procedures.
- Lead the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for management, board of directors, and external stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of company performance and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Review Tax calculations for the company.
- Develop and implement strategies for budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, considering the unique aspects of manufacturing operations and complexities involving WIP and inventory.
- Partner with other departments across the organization to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and deliver board reports & other tasks for exec team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Manufacturing and/or Inventory experience required
- Big 4 experience looked upon favourably
- CA or CPA Qualified
