Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Financial Controller will work alongside our leaders to drive Boyce's success. The role will be responsible for end-to-end compliance and will also provide opportunities to coach, guide, and mentor senior leaders on the financial performance of their teams. The Financial Controller will enable and empower our team to make informed, data-driven decisions based on best practice to maximise the financial performance of Boyce. Additionally, the Financial Controller will lead our Finance team.

About you:
You might be a seasoned Financial Controller or Finance Manager seeking a change of pace, or an experienced finance professional with expertise in CFO advisory looking to advance your career. You will have no difficulty engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, complemented by your adaptable, warm, and open communication style. You will possess a strong understanding of commercial accounting and the capability to analyze and evaluate financial data from various sources. Additionally, you will have an adaptable, proactive work style, capable of managing multiple priorities and addressing problems collaboratively and proactively. Ideally, you will also have experience in leading a geographically dispersed team of finance professionals.

If you have some of the below experience and qualities, we'd like to hear from you…
- Qualified CA or CPA with a minimum 8 year’s accounting & finance experience.
- Demonstrated experience with managing accounting functions including payroll, accounts receivable and payable, budgeting and asset management.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, coach and train other team members.
- Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
- Demonstrated experience in driving change and improving processes and controls to support business growth.
- An excellent communicator, comfortable presenting complex financial particulars to an audience in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Remain calm under pressure and manage workload to meet challenging deadlines.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills with a high degree of initiative and ability to produce timely and quality results.
- Demonstrated competency in utilising relevant software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power BI and accounting software such as Xero, MYOB and APS
