Financial Controller

Our client is a highly innovative and successful hospitality business, currently looking to appoint a driven & talented Financial Controller with proven success to support a period of significant expansion and growth.  

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Financial Controller will be responsible for:

• Managing the preparation and presentation of financial statements, and reports;
• Oversee the group consolidation of results
• Ensure all audit files are prepared in accordance with the audit timetable;
• Managing a large team of qualified accountants and transactonal staff 
• Statutory reporting and tax management for the company with the support of the external accounting advisor;
• Continuous improvement of processes and control
• Delivery of month end and year end close;
• Ad hoc duties as required

The successful candidate will possess:

• Post graduate qualification of CPA/CA/CIMA
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of finance policies, procedures and accounting standards
• Experience within Big 4 or large mid-tier accounting firm highly regarded
• Resilient with a flexible and adaptable style
• Team management experience
