I am seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join and lead a dynamic team. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of a fast-growing, founder-led, Australian Fintech.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day general accounting functions.
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly board reporting and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate and oversee the preparation of audited financial statements and regulatory filings in Australia and Singapore.
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage relationships with banking partners, payment processors, and other financial service providers.
- Provide strategic financial advice to senior management to support business growth and expansion.
- Stay informed about changes in cryptocurrency regulations and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Experience gained in a financial leadership role, preferably within a ASX-listed small-cap or Fintech environment
- Indepth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
