Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and development of robust financial policies and procedures
- Lead the budgeting process, monitor financial performance, and develop long-term financial strategies
- Lead and mentor functional heads and team members of the corporate head office
- Identify and manage financial risks, implement effective internal controls, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Oversee tax planning and compliance, liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies
- Assist the CFO in managing treasury functions, including cash flow management, banking relationships, and investment strategies
- Provide insights and recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team as required
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- A CPA or CA qualification and membership
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior financial role, preferably in the industrial services sector or a related industry
- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, taxation laws, and regulatory requirements
- Experience working in global corporation an advantage
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
