About the opportunity:
Reporting directly into the co-founders you will oversee the full accounting & finance function and lead a small team of two clerical staff.
This is a hands on role where you will be responsible for the preparation of the financial accounts and full month-end process whilst overseeing and managing the transactions an processing through your team.
Working in a fast-paced environment you will have the opportunity to get involed in and influence all aspects of the business, establish new processes and seek out improved ways of working.

Your core responsibilites will include;
- Development and management of the finance team
- Coordination with third party vendors, external accountants and auditors
- Preparation of the annual statutory accounts as well as monthly management reporting and delivery of the month-end accounting
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Ad-hoc analysis and business cases
- Overseeing payroll processing and reporting
This opportunity would suit an ambitious senior accountant or finance manager, looking to broaden their experience and eager to take on responsibility of the A to Z of a finance department. The ideal candidate will meet the following selection criteria;
- CA / ACA Qualified with training in a mid-tier or Big 4 accounting firm is preferred but not essential
- In terms of experience, either the preparation of financial and management accounts in an SME business or a first mover from Business Services, CFO Advisory or External Audit
- Aspirations to work in a fast-paced and growing business
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to operate as a business partner, engaging regularly with the operations teams
- Flexible and adaptable, you are able to work effectively in a high growth environment
- Excellent work-ethic and motivated to build and develop your career
