The Role
We are now seeking a driven Financial Controller based at Mount Lofty Estate reporting to the Group CFO.
To be successful in securing this unique leadership role you will be tertiary qualified and have extensive working knowledge of accounting procedures and a burning ambition to make a measurable difference and succeed. The successful applicant will be:

- Ensure the integrity and viability of business proposals, short and long term, prioritising resources to achieve desired return on investment
- Implement and monitor internal controls
- Be the commercial conscience of the Leadership Team and assist in transformational projects
- Ensure accurate accounting practices are followed to ensure all assets, liabilities, income, and expenses are accurately recorded
- Prepare, review, and analyse daily, weekly and end of period management reports
- Compilation and analysis of financial reports
- Support departments with controlling expenditure
- Collaborate with each department head on the financial performance of their outlets
- Prepare budgets and forecasts
- Mentor, motivate & train Finance Team members
• Be a true hospitality professional dedicated to providing authentic customer service and be flexible in your approach to resolve issues.
Skills & Experience:
• Qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• At least 5 years experience in a similar role in hotel finance
• Strong knowledge of Hotel management, Point of Sales, accounting, purchasing and inventory systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
