We are seeking an experienced Financial Lines Claims Consultant to work for a highly regarded international insurance organisation. This organisation is a trusted provider within the insurance field which holds a strong and stable position in the current market. As a Financial Lines Claims Consultant you will join a team of high performing professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment.In this role your duties will include –
- Management of a portfolio of mixed Financial Lines Claims including litigated matters.
- Determine the nature of the loss and coverage provided, then effectively negotiate, and investigate each claim while communicating with all relevant parties.
- Provide advice on coverage.
- Proactively drive claim progress.
- Interpret policy wording and review of circumstance to ensure coverage is maximised.
- Provide structured claim solutions.
- Liaise with clients, external service providers and other insurance organisations.
Essential requirements –
- Proven history of effectively managing a portfolio of mixed liability claims.
- Legal qualifications and experience would be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of complex and litigated claims matters.
- Effective communication, negotiation, dispute resolution and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to build a strong rapport with service providers and customers.
- Confident in your ability to effectively manage the claims process and all relevant parties.
- Ability to take ownership while working to tight deadlines.
