The team is seeking an individual who is technically astute to spearhead their implementation of a new account system and work closely with their global CFO.
You will be working closely with a CFO and collaboratively with their Managing Director ANZ. This is an opportunity for someone to be apart of bringing advanced AI technology to the healthcare sector across ANZ.
Roles + Responsibilities
- Preparing and submitting monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and information to tight month end timelines
- Monitor, and process the day-to-day financial operations within the jurisdiction, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions
- Leading the relationship between our business and external agents/ auditors
- Business partnering with the SLT in APAC to ensure they get accurate and timely information to aid with decision making
- Managing all local taxation matters
- Adhering to financial regulations and legislation
- Preparing budgets and regular forecasts for the region
- Maintaining a control environment (monthly balance sheet reconciliations, reviews)
- Monitoring internal financial control
- Establishing and maintaining financial policies and procedures aligned to group
- Aid in streamlining financial processes for the region
- Project managing a new finance system implementation for the region led by team at HQ
- The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience and be a CA/CPA qualified accountant/finance professional with experience operating in a SaaS technology business.
- They will need to demonstrate knowledge and practical experience of Australian accounting and regulatory reporting requirements.
- They must have advanced excel skills with experience in implementation of new finance systems. (NetSuite)
- It is preferable is this candidate had experience in a SaaS software business turning over approximately $50M.
- It is desirable if the candidate has experience with salary, superannuation, payroll tax and workers compensation.
