As Financial Manager you are responsible for coordinating accounting services and business partnering within the Finance department. What we offer... Permanent full time, 35 hours per week (A job share arrangement may be considered for this role) An attractive remuneration package commencing from $112,527.48 commensurate with qualifications, skills and experience Plus 11% superannuation Phone, laptop and leaseback What you'll need to be successful in the role... Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or equivalent. Five years of experience in a senior finance/accounting position Post Graduate qualifications in Accounting (CA or CPA, provisional member minimum) Experience in the preparation of annual statutory accounts, annual budgets and long-term financial plans for Local Government Experience leading and developing a team in a commercial or similar environment. Excellent understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and Code of Accounting Practice and Financial Reporting What you'll love about working for Kiama Council...
