AddressThis well-respected global bank is a fantastic place to work with a truly unique culture. They are seeking a Financial Markets Services Officer to join their team on an initial 6-month contract with the potential to extend or convert to permanent.
The Financial Market Services department provides operational support to the Markets division for the various risk management products offered to their clients. You will be exposed to and work across a variety of financial market products rather than being siloed into an individual product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing financial market transactions as well as settlements
- Initiating the setup and settlement of securities within Exigo
- Ensuring deadlines for all payments processing have been met
- Ensuring FMS transactions have been accurately processed
- Investigating and escalation of various front to back office system reconciliations
- Nostro cash investigations
- Ensure local risk management and regulatory requirements are adhered to at all times.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Treasury Operations role (payments and settlements experience)
- Excellent knowledge of SWIFT, Exigo, NZClear, RTGS desirable
- A good knowledge of Commodities, fixed-income securities, Interest Rate Derivatives, Money Market and Foreign Exchange products.
The role is diverse and requires a candidate who can work within a dynamic and varied department. You will be capable of taking on responsibility, and thinking outside the box to ensure the bank and team are constantly improving.
This is an initial 6-month contract with a strong possibility of extension or conversion to permanent. This role is paying $327 per day + super. Please only apply if you have AU citizenship or Permanent Residency.
