As the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager you will oversee financial planning and analysis, collaborate with other departments for accurate and timely financial information, provide insights to senior management, and identify process improvements for efficient financial reporting.

Job Description
As the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you will collaborate with function heads and managers to develop annual budgets and forecasts that align with Adecco's requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of client satisfaction by providing exceptional services to the Defense and DFR Adecco contract, fostering a strong and lasting relationship between Adecco and the Commonwealth of Australia.
You will:
- Monitor allocation budgets in accordance with the Commonwealth’s requirements.
- Provide input into the preparation of budget estimates, modelling, forecasts, monthly reporting and financial analysis.
- Track and manage contractual considerations, including managing sub-contractor spend, reimbursable expenditure, project costing, indexation and the Performance Management Framework (PMF).
- Enable function heads and managers to take ownership of their budget/P&L by supporting, educating and ensuring Adecco and the Commonwealth’s requirements are understood.
- Analyse actual performance against budget and forecast, providing recommendations for improvements that contribute to cost reductions, revenue generation and streamlining operations.
- Create and provide financial reporting via dashboards to local, regional and group stakeholders, as and when requested.
- Model financial performance scenarios based on services and DFR overall target and achievement forecasts, providing opportunities for function heads to adjust approach in order achieve target.
- Provide insights to leadership team on financial modelling, forecasts and profitability.
- Maintain deep knowledge of DFR current and future priorities.
- Maintain industry knowledge and appropriate accreditation to ensure exceptional level of support to the business.
- Lead a high performing team, supporting their continuous development and growth.
Your background will demonstrate:
- Strong technical accounting foundations.
- Commercial finance acumen with a proven track record of actively driving commercial agendas across the business.
- Experience implementing, delivering and managing new systems and reporting tools.
- Highly developed written & verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively manage a wide range of key stakeholders.
- Pro-active and customer focused mind set.
- The ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
- Key eye for detail and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
- Superior stakeholder management, including advanced influencing and negotiation skills.
- Experience in PowerBI and Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
