Are you looking for an exciting job opportunity in the financial sector? Do you have experience with accounting systems? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for the Financial Systems Support Officer role at Queensland Parliamentary Services. This is a 6-month temporary position that will allow you to join a project team within Finance and Administrative Services (FAS) to contribute to the delivery of a new accounting system. As a Financial Systems Support Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting data migration activities, including data import and export
- Supporting interface development and integration with external systems
- Providing system administration and configuration support
- Assisting with user acceptance testing and system modifications
- Assisting with go live planning and implementation support
- Providing technical support and guidance to staff, including preparing documentation and training material
- Performing other duties related to the project as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Knowledge and experience with accounting systems;
- Experience with data migration, interface development and system administration;
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills; and
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
