Essential a'Mare Requirements:
• Australian working rights
• Current NSW RSA certificate
• Knowledge of wine and food pairing; with focus on Italian, French, and Australian wines
• Fluent English language proficiency
• Formal hospitality qualifications
• Up to two years of employment experience
• Positive attitude towards customer service and teamwork
Your tasks & responsibilities:
• Managing your section during service and ensuring a positive guest experience
• Providing menu recommendations and explaining our food philosophy to our guests
• Taking customer orders accurately
• Checking if your guests have any dietary requirements
• Ongoing communication with both FOH & BOH to streamline service
• Checking on customer tables to see if any issues with their food / service
• Checking bill accuracy and bill presentation to customers
• Experience in gueridon/tableside service
• Proficiency in Italian cuisine
• Working knowledge of Italian wines, spirits & liqueurs
