About the company

As an experienced Sprinkler Fitter your key responsibilities will include:

• Carry out testing of all wet and dry Fire Systems in accordance with AS1851-2012.
• Perform Integrity Testing;
• Performing on site emergencies. Proven field service experience, ability to Troubleshoot, Test and Repair;
• Identifying Issues and Non-Conformances;
• Quote New Jobs and Rectification work;
• Preparing accurate and timely onsite service sheets and reports.

Skills & experience

• A sound Knowledge of Australian Standards and codes relevant to the fire industry
• Suitable experience in installation, service and testing of Sprinkler, Hydrant, Fire Hose Reel, Pumps and Pump Sets and Special Hazard systems.
• Strong ability in fault diagnosis and solving issues on site
• The ability to read/ interpret plans
• A current Trade Qualification (Fire Protection Scope - Hydrants and Pump Sets, Sprinkler & Suppression Systems)
• A current Qualified Persons Extinguishing Agent Handling Licence and fitter/plumbing license.
