We invite applications for the part time position of First Aid Officer commencing Term 1, 2024.
The key role of the First Aid Officer is to assist the School Nurse in supporting the healthcare needs of students and staff at the school. The position is required during school hours, 8.30am to 3.10pm, on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday during term time.
Key Aspects of the role:
- Providing First Aid to students and staff and administering medications as required, in accordance with school policies and procedures
- Maintaining accurate records of medical incidents and treatments
- Ensuring the First Aid room is clean and hygienic, well-organised and maintained
- Assisting with personal care for students with special care needs as required
- Attending school events, excursions and camps to provide First Aid
- Assisting the School Nurse with the administration and management of supplies, First Aid kits, staff training records and immunisation programs
