Position Description – Fitness Sales Consultant


Position:  Fitness Sales Consultant 

Reports to:  Business Owner

Location:  Osborne Park

Purpose: The Fitness Sales Consultant is responsible for ensuring the successful growth of the studio by facilitating top quality service follow ups and sales activities. Expectations of the role extend to helping the team studio reach monthly targets and growing the member base over time. The overarching goal is to ensure our members are happy and this number is growing.

Key Performance Indicators:

  1. The Fitness Sales Consultant is required to adhere to the monthly performance criteria set by the Owner for both new members and corporate business. This team member must personally make 20 Calls per week, book 8 appointments, and secure 4 new members.
     
  2. The Fitness Sales Consultant should be proficient in the Ninja Fitness Sales Systems/Training,  including but not limited to using the NAP, LEGO Phone scripting, POSR, Closing and more. Target of 95% compliance across sales.
     
  3. Lead Generation outreach event booked 1 x per month with a target of 15+ outreach leads.
     
  4. The Fitness Sales Consultant must adhere to the Business WIP Sales Expectations set by the advisory of growth consultants at SAOR and ensure these are updated weekly.
     
  5. The Fitness Sales Consultant will be responsible for creating and posting across social media accounts 1 x per shift.
     
  6. The Fitness Sales Consultant will be required to manage all existing relationships and co-ordinate any casual leasing opportunities, developing and implementing strategies to support expansion in the studio.
     
  7. The Fitness Sales Consultant will ensure that they can adhere to the sales ratios; 50% contact to appointment ratio and 65% Close Ratio with an average of 1 Point of Sale Referral per sale.

  1. A positive and professional attitude is essential.
     
  2. Punctuality is vital along with the ability to work within specified timeframes.
     
  3. The drive for success mixed with basic sales/marketing skills as a minimum.
     
  4. Must be willing to work towards both individual and team goals.
     
  5. Strong ability to present to groups and individuals.


Tasks / Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all existing corporate partnerships and develop new corporate relationships as directed by business leaders.
     
  2. Deliver monthly corporate and member sales results to the company.
     
  3. Manage social media accounts and ensure growth in terms of followers, engagement and ultimately sales outcomes from the platforms.
     
  4. Manage new member sales discussions, make outbound sales calls, book in members to studio tours and complete sales presentations.
     
  5. Attend and oversee activity at casual leasing sites when they have been booked for the club.
     
  6. Develop partnerships with local businesses for effective distribution of lead boxes, networking etc.
     
  7. Seek out and participate in special events to generate new corporate/local members.
     
  8. Work closely with Owners/Consultants to build awareness of the studio in the local area.


Qualifications / Experience:

  1. Previous experience in a similar Corporate or Fitness Sales environment is preferred but not essential.
     
  2. Sales and Marketing experience within the Fitness Industry preferred.
