Fitter And Turner / Metal Machinist

We are a long standing and successful family business.  We specialise in all aspects of engineering including machine breakdown, preventative maintenance, stainless steel welding, onsite fabrication and a range of general engineering services.

We are a job shop and breakdown service first and foremost so you will be the type of person that can work to an acceptable deadline when required. There are daily overtime opportunities available including weekend work paid at full overtime rates (on top of salary). 

 Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Australian recognized trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering (Fitter) or equivalent 
• An ability to proactively work in a fast-paced environment
• Your practical requirements will include but not be limited to: urgent breakdowns, preventative maintenance, working on food processing equipment, ancillary equipment, welding and fabrication.
• Attending jobs both on customer premises and in the workshop.
• Trial may be required.
• Immediate start.
